An invitation to join Trauma Call as an affiliate

It is with great excitement that we introduce TraumaCall to you.
TraumaCall has been established in South Africa at a time when our people are bleeding emotionally, and the country is in desperate need of healing. High crime levels are traumatising our citizens daily and many are struggling to get the professional trauma defusing and debriefing they need, in the time required to reduce the likelihood of complications like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

EMBRACING THE FUTURE

Gone are the days where when needing counselling urgently, the client calls a call centre, hoping that it’s not too busy, and that the operator will understand their need, setting up an appointment for them with a counsellor, like you, that they can relate to.

With Trauma Call, clients will have access to the counsellors closest to them through our smartphone app, website and our state of the art client service center. The client can view the profiles and photographs of the counsellors and select one they are most comfortable with. Our technology allows the client to see the progress of their selected counsellor towards them and the counsellor is guided towards the client on a navigation map. Counsellors need never worry about receiving payment from clients because TraumaCall pays them for all sessions done.

Our corporate client base is constantly growing and the TraumaCall team are currently in the process of engaging with the insurance industry, the banking industry and other large corporates. Through this growth, we expect to have millions of members countrywide in a relatively short space of time.

Our need for counselling affiliates is growing constantly and we would like to invite you to join us.

SIMPLE PROCESS

Go to our website, traumacall.co.za and complete the counsellor registration page. Once you have been accepted, you can download our smartphone app (essential for you to receive bookings) from Play Store (Android), or the South African App Store (IOS mobile).
You will choose your availability. To make yourself available you will go onto your app and click on the 'Online' button. Should anyone need a counsellor in your vicinity while you are available, your details will come up on their smartphone app.
They will look at your profile and if they decide that you are most suitable, will send you a booking request. You will receive the request on your phone along with their number. You will then call them and set up the appointment.

You do not charge them the client, TraumaCall pays you within 14 days, the fee paid is R800 per session.

Q: How does the app work?

Q: Do the clients come to my office?

A: Yes and no. Most of the cases that will come in will be for critical incident debriefing. So, for instance, if there was a home invasion near your house at night while you are online on the app. Then when the client requests a session they are given the option of the counsellor coming to them or if they are willing to travel to the counsellor. However, after a home invasion the police will arrive (eventually) and be wanting statements. This is when the counsellor should arrive at the house to debrief the victims. So most of the time the counsellor would need to travel a short distance to see the client. If you do not travel to clients but only see them at your consulting room, you will only appear as available if a client requests to go to the counsellor.

Q: What working hours are required of me?

A: None. You have the freedom to decide when you would like to be available for counselling sessions. We do not have any minimum hourly requirements.

Q: What rates do counsellors get paid?

A: TraumaCall pays all counsellors a standard rate of R800.00 per counselling session. Should we request that you travel an excessive distance, then a pre-arranged fee per kilometer will be discussed. Although we expect this to happen very rarely. There is no time limit for a session, a session is a session, generally between 45 to 90 minutes.

Q: What documentation do I need to provide in order to register?

A: None. An online registration application form is filled out on the website under the “Counsellor Registration” Tab. Once your application is reviewed TraumaCall may ask for relevant documentation before approving you as a counsellor on the system. It is very important that you have a high-quality photo of you in professional attire.

Q: What is the turnaround time for payment to be made?

A: TraumaCall has a 14-day turnaround time for payment to counsellors, from the day we receive the invoice.

Q: What is the affiliation fee?

A: Nothing. Registration and affiliation with TraumaCall are totally Free.

Q: Can I decline a booking request ?

A: If you feel uncomfortable with the client or location you can decline and the client will be informed that you are no longer available and they should make another selection
